yes, it has been quite a while. i am quite well.

My old place kept reminding me of who I've lost.

i will keep that in mind. but i do not think it will be necessary.

i think that does not matter. the memories of those you have lost will always remain, wherever you live. yet i do understand what it means to be surrounded with everything that belongs to the one you miss the most.

I would hope not, but this place is interesting, to say the least.

It has been helpful to be in a new place, without ghosts left to haunt me around every corner. I could sometimes still smell them, and it would happen when I least expected it.

i think it is, yes. interesting and confusing. but please, i do not care if someone is mistreating me. it is not something i worry about.

have you always been able to smell them or is it because you have turned into a beast?

Why would you not care?

I could smell them on their clothes if I wore them, or if I was close to them. But the turnskin traits have heightened my senses.

that is difficult to explain to a human. but my purpose, what i am, what i can become, it has all been encrypted into my soul by gods. it is not for me to change it or to overwrite it. to mistreat a weapon isn't as bad as mistreating said weapon's friends.
