But the present Ozymandias has for Enkidu does not require wrapping. Or rather, it is somewhat ill-advised to wrap living things even if said living things are plants.]
[And they are quite alive. Ozymandias does not gift Enkidu with beautiful things that have been cut in the prime of their life to slowly wilt in a vase. They are saplings, each labeled with their names with small, handwritten signs. (The signs may be somewhat unnecessary, but Ozymandias thinks it better to be safe than sorry in providing Enkidu with easy recognition of each plant.) Next to the pots is a small stack of three books (which unlike the plants are wrapped), each one a text on plant-based magic. One contains information on magic that encourages growth and further development, another on alchemical properties, and the third on other uses for plants in other schools of magic.]
[Enkidu isn't familiar with this tradition and they have some problems with their cash flow so Ozymandias receives his gift quite late.
One morning he can find a small bottle of scented oil on the table in the kitchen with a note attached to it. The handwriting looks extremely sloppy but, alas, writing has never been Enkidu's forte.]
i am not sure if this smells the same as the flowers you treasure. but it is pleasant nonetheless. i have smelled it myself.
